Here I am at 8 weeks…
I’ve actually lost 3 pounds so far (dr. said it’s normal to lose or gain up to 5 pounds during the first trimester), so no baby bump yet…

I’m pretty sure the baby takes after Mike in one key area.
The baby is NOT a morning person.
If I had my way, I’d be sleeping until noon every day, which is extremely out of character for me. It’s that Schiller DNA!

The Internet tells me that our little guy (have I mentioned that I JUST KNOW it’s a boy) is now the size of a lentil bean.

The doctor’s office just called to reschedule the first sonogram from August 18 to August 29–I was apparently supposed to wait until after the 8-week mark, which isn’t until August 22. It seems like such a long time to wait!

My first prenatal appointment was this afternoon. The doctor said that everything looks great, and adjusted my due date to April 4, 2009 (the online calculator I found said April 3).
